Greetings from Pennsylvania,
As we approach the last months of this administration, I wish to thank everyone for their support and continued efforts on behalf of the National Society.
I am proud to report the wonderful success of this President's project. These past three years the fourth object of our Society has been fulfilled. Your support of the Fisher House Project has been amazing and beyond this President's wildest dreams. Thank you for not "forgetting" our armed forces and their families.
This President, as many in the past, has traveled thousands of miles including trips to the many states, academies, and celebrations such as Yorktown Days. She enjoyed the opportunity to visit chapters in 16 states this year alone. I wish to thank all who extended invitations and encourage chapters to continue this practice for future Presidents. State visits offer a wonderful opportunity for the President to meet the members on a one to one basis and to open a dialogue not available at General Court.
Visiting Atlanta for the October Board was an exciting experience and opened the opportunity for this President to visit some of the southern states. Many of the Board enjoyed the opportunity to shop at the Swan Coach House, an opportunity to start early Christmas shopping. I am grateful to the chapters that have hosted the Board during this Administration.
I hope to see many of you at the 117th General Court April 8-10. Those who have experienced Washington will tell you it is an exciting time as we continue to work of the Society and visit with dear friends. Make your plans early using the forms found on the 2015 General Court page of this website.
I look forward to greeting each of your at General Court in April.
