​EUGENIA WASHINGTON

Founded June 7, 1898, by Miss Eugenia Washington, great grand niece of Ge01ge Washington, Mrs. Henry V. Boynton, and Mrs. William L. Mason with these objectives: to associate with congenial women whose ancestors struggled together in the country's founding and sustained the Colonies in the struggle for independence; to teach reverent regard/or those founders, while encouraging patriotism and commemorating events in the hist01y of the colonists; to work for the preservation of historic and family records, and to obtain and provide supplies to Army and Navy hospitals during times of war. Over 100 years later, the work of the society is vital to America future.
